ays replace the protective cap on the appliance when it is not in

use. There is also a risk of personal injury!

For safe handling of batteries observe the following safety instructions:

■ Do not throw batteries into a ﬁ re.

■ Never short-circuit batteries.

■ Do not attempt to recharge batteries.

■ Regularly check the condition of the batteries. Leaking batter

cause permanent damage to the appliance. Special caution should be

exercised when handling damaged or leaking batteries. Risks from acid

burns! Wear protective gloves.

■ Store batteries in a place inaccessible to children. If a battery should be

allowed, seek medical attention IMMEDIATLY.

■ If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove

the batteries.
