Fixing in place

1. Place the vacuum base vice down on to a suitable ﬂat, smooth

surface.

2. Turn the suction pad lever

anticlockwise as far as it will go

to ﬁx the suction pad

in place.

Note: If you ﬁx the suction foot

in place directly at the

edge of the bench, you will be able to clamp long workpieces

vertically to work on their ends.

j Turn the suction pad lever

clockwise to release the suction

Use

Clamping and releasing a workpiece

1. Turn the vice into the desired position and ﬁx the ball joint

in position with the ball joint tommy bar

2. To open the jaws

turn the vice jaws tommy bar

anticlockwise.

3. Place the workpiece between the jaws

and clamp it by

turning the vice jaws tommy bar

clockwise. Ensure that the

workpiece is tightly clamped.

j You can now work on the workpiece.

j After completing work on the workpiece, release it by turning

the vice jaws tommy bar

anticlockwise.

Cleaning and care

j Clean the product with a dry, ﬂuﬀ-free cloth.

j Never use aggressive or corrosive cleaning agents, as they

may damage the product.
